At City of Sheffield we care about our athletes and this is reflected in our being awarded Clubmark by England Athletics.The club caters for athletes of all ages, ethnicity and abilities to enhance their potential.
By providing coaching from qualified coaches we nurture and develop the individual's abilities in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

The club trains in state of the art facilities at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium and the English Institute of Sport.  If you are interested in athletics, whatever your level of ability, then you are invited to come along and join us.

English Schools AA Combined Events Championships

On Sunday 28 June Lucy and Amy Hodgson (representing Rotherham Schools) and Jill Lee-Liggett (Sheffield schools) - all City of Sheffield AC athletes represented South Yorks Junior Girls in the regional round of the ESAA Combined Events competition (North East Schools).

Weekend News

It was a busy weekend for our athletes over the weekend of 6 and 7 June. Our mens British Athletics League team made a good start to the Premier League season on their return. The Northern League team had a good result at Doncaster in their division 2EC match, and the young athletes were in action at Rotherham.

South Yorkshire Schools Championships 2009

The championships took place at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 13 June. The event is a competition beween city school teams from the county. It also serves as a selection event for the South Yorkshire AA team taking part in the English Schools Championship.There were a large number of our athletes involved.
