We are proud to be one of the North of England's premier clubs, with a vibrant mix of athletes - from 8 year olds to Seniors. At City of Sheffield we care about our athletes and this is reflected in our being awarded Clubmark by England Athletics.The club caters for athletes of all ages, ethnicity and abilities to enhance their potential.
By providing coaching from qualified coaches we nurture and develop the individual's abilities in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

The club trains in state of the art facilities at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium and the English Institute of Sport.  If you are interested in athletics, whatever your level of ability, then you are invited to come along and join us.

Jessica Ennis Wins European Gold

Jessica Ennis won the heptathlon gold in the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona today with a thrilling final run in the 800m. In day one she had won the first two events, the 100m hurdles and high jump. Under pressure  in the shot put she produced a solid throw of 14.05m with her final throw. She then finished the day with a season's best performance in the 200m of 23.21 to leave the opposition in her wake.

British Athletics League Match 3

Our British League team all but guaranteed a return to the Premiership in their third, and penultimate, match of the season. Leading the division going into the match in Bromley the team finished second to Kent AC. This leaves the team in first place in division 1 with one match to go and 7 points clear of the third placed team Kent AC, with the top two teams promoted.

Young Athletes League Match 4

In a very tightly fought match our Young Athletes team finished in second place to Wakefield by 28 points and ahead of Doncaster by 22 points. According to the Power of 10 database, our athletes set 51 new PBs during the match.

British Athletics League Match 2
Our men's team look on target for a return to the Premier Division following an impressive win in Division 1 at Don Valley on Saturday. At the halfway stage they head the division by two points over Cardiff AC and are a massive six points clear of the third club.
