It was the first match of the season for our young athletes on Sunday in the Northern Premier Division. The team finished in first place against teams from Macclesfield, Kingston Uopn Hull and Liverpool P&S.

It was a solid start to the season for our promoted senior team on Saturday at Derby with a third place finish.

Well done to all of our young athletes who took part and put in such great efforts.

Our medal winners were:

Millie Skinner came first in the U11 weight for distance throw and also in the soft javelin throw.
Cormack Lever was first in the U13 standing long jump and 3rd in the standing triple jump.
Daniel Bell was first in the U11 standing long jump and Sam Filleul was second in the U11 weight for distance throw.

On Saturday 21 March, in the final match of the series our young athletes team won their highest total of medals in the series so far, 33 in total (10 Gold, 12 Silver, 11 Bronze). This means that over the series of 4 matches our athletes have won a total of 117 medals (34 Gold, 41 Silver, 42 Bronze). A fantastic achievement! Thank you to SYCAA for organising this series of matches.

In the first match of the series at EIS Sheffield on 8 November our U11, U13 and U15 athletes excelled themselves in winning a total of 30 medals.
