Our club had two winners and two bronze medallists when they hosted the Aviva English Schools Track and Field Championships at Don Valley at the weekend.

Jessica Ennis was in great form as she won two titles at the UK Championships and World Trials in Birmingham at the weekend.

Over the past few weeks several of our young athletes have been successful in the Sheffield Schools Track & Field Championships.

On Sunday 28 June Lucy and Amy Hodgson (representing Rotherham Schools) and Jill Lee-Liggett (Sheffield schools) - all City of Sheffield AC athletes represented South Yorks Junior Girls in the regional round of the ESAA Combined Events competition (North East Schools).
