Multi talented athlete Adam Khan (Coach: Toni Minichello) was rewarded for his hard work with two silver medals at the U17 national championships at Bedford.
With an unusual combination of events Adam jumped a new p.b. of 14.46m in the triple jump on the Saturday and turned in another p.b. in the 400m hurdles on Sunday for his second silver with 54.25.
Adam whose brother is G.B. athlete Dannish Khan, who featured in the GB relay squad earlier this year is determined to gain his own G.B. vest, just not sure what event to concentrate on yet.
We will see Adam next in action at the UK school games next week representing the region in triple jump.
