South Yorkshire XC League - Sunday 8 November, Fixture 2, Longley Park - Results and Race Report |

To say that the morning of Sunday 8th November was wet is an understatement. It started raining at 10:00, and finished at 13:30, by which time then Senior Men were finishing and the club tents were standing in 6 inches of water and a soup of mud. The ground was slippy underfoot and several athletes took nasty falls. But what a fantastic turnout and what fantastic results from the City of Sheffield athletes. |

City of Sheffield Juniors had a good turn-out on the day for this local warm up event, going home with some medals and achieving some excellent team and individual performances. The Senior Men's team who competed later in the day finished 4th overall. |
