At the British Masters Indoor Championships at Lea Valey on the weekend of 27/28 March John Charlton won the M60 200m title in a time of 28.16secs to add to his victory in the Indoor Pentathlon back in January at the same venue. He also finished just out of the medals in the 400m final where he was 4th in a time of 63.95secs. |

A good showing by club athletes in the last South Yorkshire indoor meeting last weekend resulted in 8 athletes finishing in the top three in their age groups for the series Grand Prix.

Lee Retains American College Title |
Lee Emanuel retained his mile title at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, USA on March 12-13.
Competing for New Mexico University, the defending champion led the preliminaries and in the final, Emanuel was a class above the opposition as he dipped under the four-minute barrier for the victory in 3:59.76, defeating Mac Fleet, who took second in 4:01.63.
