We had a few U17 and U15 athletes in action at Wigan and Birmingham over the weekend...

We had a winner and a couple of silver medals in the Northern Championships.

U17s
In the 100m Dannish Khan was 6th in the final in a time of 11.77 seconds. He went two better finishing 4th in 22.51s in the 200m final.
Carys Hall also finished 4th in the 200m in the women's final in 24.52s, a new club record. She was also 5th in the 100m final in 12.3s.
In the 3000m final James Gray was 8th in 9:28.69 mins.

U15s
Abigail Bishell took joint 1st place in a dead heat in the 100m final. Her 100m time of 12.34s was a new club record. She also won silver in the 200m final.
Chris Grayson was second in the 800m final in a time of 2:06.34 mins.

In the Midlands Championships Tesni Ward won 3 gold medals in the javelin, discus and shot, Luke Peters was 3rd in the U20 javelin and his brother Thomas was 7th in the U15 javelin. Thomas was competing as an U15 although he is an U13.
