Triple Gold in the UK School Games

Congratulations to Luke Peters, Abdi Risak Ahmed and Mukhtar Mohammed who all won gold medals at the UK School Games 2007 in Coventry on Sunday. Luke won the men's javelin with a throw of 58.48m, Abdi won the men's 3000m in a time of 8:43:50 while Mukhtar won by the narrowest of margins in the men's 800m in 1:55:47. Well done also to Hannah Brightmore who finished a good 4th in the women's triple jump with a distance of 11.19m, 34cm better than her previous PB.
