on finishing in 4th place in the heptathlon at the IAAF World Championships this weekend. A fantastic achievement for someone who at 21 years old was competing at her first senior world championships. In finishing 4th Jessica recorded PBs in the 100m hurdles (12.97 seconds), 200m (23.15 seconds), Javelin (38.07m) and in the heptathlon points total (6469 points). She also finished first in her final event, the 800m, beating Kelly Sotherton and Carolina Kluft. She was also only 41 points behind the bronze medal place. Well done!
