Young Athletes Stay Top After Fourth Win |
Monday, 25 June 2007 |
Despite the atrocious weather on Sunday the Young Athletes team won their fourth consecutive match by a comfortable 70 points in Cleckheaton. Some fantastic performances in the conditions and another great all round team effort resulted in the team amassing 399 points and taking all four Athlete of the Match Awards.
Going into the final match of the season in July the team would only need to come first, second or possibly third to win promotion to the Northern Premier division. A first place would seal the league championship.
