Please vote for our funding initiative

The Norwich Union Community Sports Fund gives you the chance to make a difference to sport in your community by voting for a local sporting initiative, and helping them to win funding of up to £50,000.
Our club has put forward an initiative to increase the number of athletics sessions available to children in the area, and to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to athletic coaching.
We need yor help to get this initiative funded. Please go to the Join Our Team website , select our initiative and vote for us.
It only takes a couple of minutes to register and vote and the more votes that we get the more funding we receive!

Welcome to the City of Sheffield Athletic Club

We are proud to be one of the North of England's premier clubs, with a vibrant mix of athletes - from 8 year olds to Seniors. At City of Sheffield we care about our athletes, whatever their standard, and this is reflected in our being awarded Clubmark by England Athletics. The club caters for athletes of all ages, ethnicity, development, and abilities to enhance their potential in the variety of disciplines which the sport offers.

By providing free coaching from qualified coaches with support for all, whether track & field, road, cross country or race walking, we nurture and develop the individual's abilities in a fun and friendly atmosphere to enable them to succeed to the best of their potential.

The club trains in state of the art facilities at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium and the English Institute of Sport.  If you are interested in athletics, whatever your level of ability, then you are invited to come along and join us.

If you are aged 8 to 16 years and are interested in joining us then visit our Young Athletes pages.
