Young Walkers Take Triple Gold

Rebecca Mersh, Kathryn Grainger and Natalie Myers all picked up gold medals in the Race Walking Association National Championships at Don Valley Stadium. Rebecca and Kathryn both picked up gold medals for the fifth successive year. Rebecca took her first U20 trophy over 10km, her time of 52.27 took her inside the race walking world cup qualifying time. Kathryn took the U17 gold in a tight race over 5km where first and second places were awarded the same time. Natalie completed the set by taking the U15 gold.
